We have had an extremely frustrating experience. We were offered a rental from a lady's insurance company after she scratched our car. Said insurance company lined up arrangements with Enterprise. Enterprise contacted my husband but we didn't know when our car would be scheduled for repair. Last Thursday (25th) he stopped by to line it up as repair was scheduled for Tuesday morning but were we going to get the car on Monday (29th) morning at 8am because we were off of work. Enterprise called and left messages Friday (26th) to say they were closed Monday and scheduled us for Tuesday (30th) at 8 am. Then they called again and said it would be at 8:30. Friday afternoon we tried calling them to tell them that wouldn't work. An automated system would answer and say it was transferring then we would get a busy signal. The same happened Saturday and Monday. We finally googled a different phone number to get ahold of someone. They were somewhat helpful in getting a new pick up location (our address) and time (4pm) established, I thought. She instructed us to call 2 hours ahead of pick up time to confirm. We said that we had problems calling because it answers then says transferring then busy signal. She said pick option 2. We said we aren't given an option then she got snippy. Tuesday morning my husband tried calling at 8:32, 8:38 and 9:36 it just rang and rang, no one ever answered. He drove over at 12:20 and personally confirmed the pick up time 4 pm and location (gave our address)...again he had already done this with the 800 number lady. My husband then got a call at 4:17 asking when his wife would be at Kent's Auto Body. He stated that the pick up location had changed to our address and I was waiting. The gal on the phone was disputing that the location had changed and it was same lady my husband spoke to in person 4 hours prior. The driver finally showed up and said he had been waiting at Kent's. I had no response to this. How can there be that many miscommunications? He apologized and said he hoped I hadn't been waiting long, depends do you think a 1/2 hour is long? When we got to the store she apologized but it didn't seem sincere. It was like it was just part of the whole routine of signing out the car. I left with the feeling that they thought they had done nothing wrong.
Absolutely horrible service! Rented us a vehicle that was unsafe to drive. Called to switch out the vehicle and received no help. Found a replacement vehicle at another location along out trip. Home one week and got a damage charge for a vehicle that was bad from the start and unsafe to drive because the rear alignment was bad. The person at the Willmar location even admitted that they do not check over the vehicles for ANY safety or driving problems. Dust wash them and send them out again. HORRIBLE AND UNSAFE!
Very disappointed in Enterprise. We booked a car online to pick up the next day at 8:30am in Willmar, MN; all set, right? Called the location later to arrange to see if they could pick the MIL up and find out they don't actually have any vehicles and won't have any the next day until after noon. They explained that the website says cars are available as long as there is car available anywhere in MN, never mind the specific location you are renting from. So we had to scramble to make other arrangements. This is a terrible renting system. I guess you need to call the specific location to rent a car, but then why offer 10% off if you book online then not have a car available when you expect it to be?
Great vehicle
Dont waste your time unprofessional
